Saltwater Pool and Okanagan Beach
First introduced in Australia in the 1960s, saltwater pools have taken off in the last few years. Enjoy a swim in our refreshing water without the itchy skin, stinging eyes and bleached bathing suits of chlorinated pools.
Okanagan Beach features nearly a kilometre of premium, sandy beach. This is one of Penticton's most popular and most beautiful beach areas, featuring a swimming area, rest rafts, kiddie slides, shade trees, washrooms nearby, fire pits, and free parking.
Inland Marine Heritage Park
Step back into the Okanagan's history on the fully restored S.S. Sicamous. Explore a real steam-powered steel-hulled paddle-wheeler, the last of her kind in Canada. Take a look at a real work horse of her time. See displays that show the life and times of people in the early Okanagan. A visit to Penticton isn't complete without seeing the classic vessels of the Inland Marine Heritage Park.
